The quality of the John Deere X380 starts from the ground up with a fully welded steel frame and cast-iron front axle which provide an extremely strong platform for more comfort, more versatility and more durability. Power comes from a 726cc Kawasaki V-Twin air cooled engine featuring the John Deere exclusive iTorque Power System providing maximum output and performance. The 48″ (121cm) Accel Deep cutting deck can be fitted with a mulch kit to multi-cut the grass and return it to the lawn as a fine mulch, this provides a neat finish without the need for grass collection. For longer over grown areas the grass can be dicharged from the side of the cutter deck. Cutting height is easily adjusted with the rotary dial and foot operated lift pedal.

Hydrostatic Twin Touch pedal control made drive the X380 a breeze and give variable speed in both forward and reverse.  A new improved dasboard with automotive style instrument cluster features an electronic display and hour meter. An Open Back suspension seat features distinctive styling and comfort, and allows air circulation around the lower back to keep the operator cool. The seat can also be adjusted back fore and aft to suit different height operators.

Xenoy molded-in colour bonnet material is very durable, hides scratches and will not rust. It also incorporates unique and efficient, full-length air vents for improved engine cooling as well as presenting a modern appearance. Headlights are standard equipment.
